UNDERSTAND THE COMPUTATION

Know what the numbers mean.

How are the two years compared?

The same full-year earnings are run through separate rules: PITA for 2025, including CRA and minimum-tax checks, and the Nigeria Tax Act framework for 2026.

Does a saving mean my actual salary will rise?

No. The comparison holds earnings constant. Changes in your pay, payroll deductions or circumstances can affect actual take-home pay.
